Post-Budget 2023 Talk

In Malaysia, federal budgets are presented annually by the Government of Malaysia to identify proposed government revenues and spending and forecast economic conditions for the upcoming year, and its fiscal policy for the forward years. The federal budget includes the government's estimates of revenue and spending and may outline new policy initiatives. Malaysia's new government will present its budget for 2023 on 24 February 2023 and expecting to have most of its people-centric policies tabled and would likely tone down on “money-giving” practices, in line with new government being prudent. Nonetheless, the budget 2023 is the leading focus of the 12th Malaysia Plan, slated for 2021 to 2025.
